The death has occurred of:
Jean McIVOR
The family of the late Jean Mc Ivor of Tullydraw Road Dungannon, wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who offered support and kindness during our recent bereavement.
To everyone who called at the family home, brought food, helped serve tea, this was greatly appreciated. To those who sent cards, left messages online, telephoned, attended the Service of Thanksgiving or kindly donated to Donaghmore Upper Church hall fund, and Guide Dogs for the Blind, we say thank you.
Your kindness, thoughts and prayers were and continue to be of great support and comfort to us. We also want to express our appreciation for the care provided by Ardmore Medical practice, Boots pharmacy, the hospital at home team and all the carers who supported Mum.
Thank you to Pastor Rea who took part in the home before we left and the Ven. Dr. Peter Thompson for his pastoral care and giving such a personal tribute and faithful Gospel message at the service. We thank Moira McLain organist, who played one of Mum’s favourite pieces as we left the Church. Thanks go to all the grandchildren who took part, the Condy family who sang, and members of Mulnahunch band who played as Mum made her final journey, to the grave digger and to Muriel Boyle for providing the beautiful tea after the service.
Our thanks also go to David Cranston, Holmes of Dungannon and his team, for the caring and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our family’s sincere gratitude.
Thank you,
Shiona, George, Deirdre and their families
