Walsh – (Cushendall & formerly Kilrea)

The sons, daughters and the entire family circle of the late Jeannie R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. Kieran Whiteford P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.

Thanks to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music; the church sacristan Ciaran McCurry and Matthew Delargy who prepared the grave.

We are deeply grateful to Gemma Lyons for the beautiful flower arrangements.

We also extend out gratitude to the Parish for the use of the Parish Centre, and to all the ladies who kindly provided refreshments following the funeral.

Sincere thanks to the Glens of Antrim Medical Centre, Gillans Pharmacy, the Glendun Nursing Home and the nursing staff of Causeway Hospital who cared for and treated Jeannie throughout her illness.

We will be eternally grateful to Fr PJ McCamphill and Fr. Damian McCaughan for their spiritual assistance while mum was in Causeway Hospital.

To everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages, telephoned, called at the home, attended the wake and funeral or stood along the funeral route as a mark of respect. We offer our deepest thanks.

We would also like to sincerely thank Ruairi Óg CLG for their assistance, and for providing a guard of honour, a gesture that meant so much to our family.

Jeannie’s family wish to express their sincere heartfelt thanks to our extended family, neighbours in Cairns and the wider community for the kindness, support and compassion shown to us during this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness, prayers and support have been a great source of comfort to us and will always be remembered

The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan & Sons, Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they guided and carried out all aspects of the funeral arrangements. We as a family are truly grateful for their personal attention to detail.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month mind Mass for Jeannie will be celebrated on Wednesday 29th July at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, Cushendall.
