The death has occurred of:
Jim QUINN
The family of the late Jim Quinn would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. Our sincere thanks to all who called at the house, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards and attended dad’s funeral Mass, especially those who travelled long distances. We appreciate the kindness of friends and neighbours who brought food and refreshments, and to all who worked tirelessly in the kitchen during the wake.
A Special word of thanks to Fr. Declan McGeehan for his support and for the heartfelt and moving eulogy and Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Rev Kevin Mc Elhennon PP,and to Canon Noel McGahan, Clogher Parish Priest. We are most grateful to all who contributed to the Mass, including the musicians and singer James Mc Shane and Eucharistic ministers. A special word of thanks to Jay Maguire Funeral Services, for the caring, professional and dignified way he carried out the funeral arrangements.
The family are indebted to dad’s exceptional carers who attended to him so diligently. Thanks to the staff in A&E in the South West Acute & Ward 31 in Altnagelvin Hospitals, and to the Palliative Care team for their care and attention.
Special word of thanks to the gravediggers and the Village Inn for the refreshments after the Funeral Mass.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of the family’s appreciation.
Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 18th August 2024 at 11.00am in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher.
