We, the family of the late James (Jim) Bullock, wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of sympathy, attended the wake and funeral, and provided food, refreshments and support throughout the week. Your kindness, generosity and presence were a great source of comfort to us during this difficult time.

We extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and medical professionals at Diakonissenkrankenhaus Dresden Hospital, Germany, for the exceptional care, compassion and dignity shown to our father throughout his illness. We will always be grateful for the kindness shown to him and the support given to our family.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Fr John Gates, Fr Eugene O’Neill and all the clergy for their spiritual guidance, support and prayers throughout the wake and funeral. Their compassion and kindness brought great comfort to our family. We are especially thankful for the beautiful Requiem Mass, which so fittingly honoured and celebrated our father’s life.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust for their incredible support in bringing Daddy home to Ireland. Their kindness, compassion, guidance and professionalism eased an enormous burden during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Knowing they were there to guide us through every step brought great comfort to our family, and we will be forever grateful for everything they did for us.

We further wish to acknowledge Dorman’s Funeral Directors for arranging and conducting the wake and funeral with such professionalism, dignity and sensitivity.

Our sincere thanks also go to Christine Rafferty, Damien Donnelly and Barry Taffe for the beautiful music, which added so much to the Requiem Mass and graveside service.

We also extend our thanks to the gravediggers and sacristan for their support, and to the staff at The Gables for providing the beautiful refreshments following the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Jim’s (Daddy’s) Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 20th July at 7.30pm in St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville, and can also be viewed online via the parish webcam:
