The sister Florence, brother-in-law Alfred and family of the late Jim Charles wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
To all who called at the home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent cards, posted messages of sympathy on Social Media or helped in any way, we are truly grateful. Thanks also to Rev Ivor Smith and Rev James Porter who conducted the Private Funeral Service and for their pastoral care, also to Mrs Mae Crooks for playing the organ.
Special thanks are due to Dr K Potter and the Nursing and Ancilliary Staff of Fairfields Nursing Home for their dedication and compassionate care.
Also to Bryan Steenson for the professional and dignified manor in which he carried out the Funeral Arrangements and for his guidance and help at a difficult time.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.
