Jim Hetherington
We the family of the late Jim Hetherington wish to express our profound gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of support and sympathy during the challenging period following his passing. In this time of sorrow, we have found comfort in the warmth and compassion extended by friends, family and well-wishers.
A heartfelt acknowledgment is extended to Fr David, Chaplain of Antrim Area Hospital, who prayed with Jim. We are also deeply appreciative to Fr Gerard McAleer for graciously officiating the Requiem Mass, guiding us through a poignant ceremony that celebrated Jim’s life.
To all those who visited, sent sympathy cards and brought food during the wake, your gestures of support did not go unnoticed. Your presence brought a sense of community and reassurance during a challenging period. We would like to convey our thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, offering prayers and thoughts for Jim’s eternal peace.
A special acknowledgment goes to the funeral director, Paudge Quinn, whose professionalism and genuine compassion guided us through the practical aspects with grace and empathy. We also offer thanks to Michael Vincent, who prepared Jim’s final resting place. Your efforts are deeply appreciated during a time when every detail mattered.
We are grateful beyond words to Malachy Cush and Plunkett McGartland for the beautiful music that adorned the ceremony.
Acknowledging everyone individually would be an impossible task, we hope this extended expression of gratitude conveys the depth of our appreciation.
As we remember Jim we invite you to join us for his Month’s Mind Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghmore on Wednesday 27th December at 10am.
May Jim’s soul find eternal peace and May the most sacred Heart of Jesus shower mercy upon him.
