The death has occurred of:
Jimmy McDAID
The family of the late Jimmy McDaid R.I.P., wish to acknowledge and extend out deepest gratitude for the expressions of sympathy and kindness that have been received from friends, neighbours and former colleagues of Jimmy.
To all those who attended the wake, Mass and funeral, the many kind words and expressions of sympathy provided great comfort and consolation at such a difficult time.
Fr. Peter O'Kane was of great assistance throughout and his Eulogy was truly heartening and captured Jimmy perfectly. We would also like to thank Fr. Eugene Hassan for presiding over the funeral service.
The traditional music by James McShane and his colleague was heart rendering, soothing and highly enriched the service.
To Omagh St. Enda's for the Guard of Honour on leaving the church which was overwhelming and for their assistance at the wake via stewarding and provision of the club minibus as well as the team at Caife 32 for the funeral lunch.
Our deepest gratitude to The Aviary, Village Inn, Blind Cobbler, Pizzamac, Killyclogher and Ann for the wonderful food they sent to the wake house.
To Matthew McGinn and PRO Hire for their professional and brilliant help at the wake house, such acts of kindness do not go unnoticed.
Our heartfelt thanks to the medical professionals in the Intensive Care Unit in South West Acute Hospital and Ward 31 in Altnagelvin who looked after Jimmy over the previous six weeks. No words can ever do justice to the kindness, care and attention shown to Jimmy and the family and the sensitivity and compassion shown throughout.
Finally, the professionalism, guidance and sensitive service provided by J. Maguire & Co., Funeral Director was excellent and was hugely appreciated by the entire family.
Whilst we have hoped to acknowledge everyone here, no doubt we may have missed someone, therefore please take this notice as a token of our appreciation for all your help.
Jimmy's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Friday, 3rd February at 7.30pm at the Sacred Heart.
