The death has occurred of:
Joe Feeney
We, the wife, sons, daughter’s and extended family of the late Joe Feeney wish to sincerely thank everyone who supported us during our recent loss of a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A heartfelt thank you to our wider family, friends, neighbours and the entire community for their kindness and generosity throughout Joes wake and funeral - your visits, words of comfort, Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, letters, phone calls, messages and the many gifts of food were all deeply appreciated.
We are especially grateful to those who travelled long distances to be with us, and to everyone who joined us in prayer at the wake and Requiem Mass.
We wish to thank Fr. McDermott, Monsignor Dolan and Brother Stephen O’Kane for their spiritual guidance and for celebrating Joe’s Requiem Mass with such compassion.
Thank you also to Sarah and Aine for their lovely singing, Brian the church Sacristan and Sean Mullan for preparing the final resting place. We would also like to thank Faughanvale GAC for their help and also to Curran catering for the refreshments after the funeral.
Our sincere thanks to Seamus, Deborah and staff at Mclaughlin Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care and sensitivity in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude for all your support during this difficult time.
Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday the 5th of July in Star Of The Sea Church, Faughanvale at 12 noon.
