Joe Coll, 10th October 2023 RIP

As we lovingly remember Joe approaching his Month’s Mind Mass, we, Vivienne and daughters, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our family, friends and neighbours who helped and supported us through our sad loss.

We wish to thank everyone who travelled from near and far to attend the wake and funeral. To those who provided food, helped at the house, sent online messages of condolences, letters, Mass and sympathy cards, gave donations to Foyle Hospice in Joe’s memory; we thank you. Your sympathy and kindness will long be remembered.

To all the caring doctors, nurses and staff of Foyle Hospice, Bridge St Health Centre and Marie Curie who gave their utmost to Joe and ourselves; always there when needed. A big thank you. We would like to thank Fr Oliver McCrossan, Fr Gerard Mongan and Fr Stephen Ward CC for all their prayers and attention given to Joe and us. A special word of thanks to Fr Oliver who conducted a very thoughtful and comforting funeral Mass. It was very fitting as Fr Oliver and Joe were old school friends. Thanks to Cilla for the beautiful and memorable music in the chapel and at the graveside. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the grave attendants and staff of the Resource Centre who provided refreshments after the funeral.

A special word of thanks needs to go to Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Raphoe. Their compassion, professionalism and attention to detail in carrying out their duties was second to none which gave us great comfort. Even now, they continue to provide great help and support which will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will remember your kindness in our prayers.

Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 11th November at 6pm in St Baithin’s Church, St. Johnston. All welcome.
