The wife and family of the late Joe Girvan would like to thank all those who
sympathised during their sad bereavement and
loss of a dear husband, father, grandfather and brother.
To all our family, friends and neighbours whose help and
support over the wake and funeral was invaluable.
To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards,
floral arrangements, telephone messages or
posted online condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank Perfect Blends and Cordelia’s and
the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake.
To Dr. Paul McClung of Abbey Court surgery,
to Dr. Nicholson and the acute team and
to all the staff of Collegelands nursing home for their great care.
To Father Emmanuel for celebrating a very fitting funeral Mass,
to Catherine and Dermot for the lovely music, to Roger and team for preparing the church,
to the grave digger for his services, to Armagh City Hotel for their post burial refreshments and
finally to JJ McArdle funeral directors for the compassionate and
professional handling of the funeral arrangements.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement
will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Joe’s months mind mass will be held in St. Malachy’s Chapel Armagh, at 7.30pm on Friday the 24th November.
