We, the family of the late Joe Walsh R.I.P., Sligo Road Enniskillen, would like to express our sincerest appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed and supported us through the recent passing of our much loved dad. We sincerely thank our friends, good neighbours, wider family and community who attended the wake and funeral Mass. Thanks to all those who helped in any way following the sudden loss of our father. We thank those who lined the funeral route and the respect shown to us by treasured friends of Mum and Dad over many years. We have been overwhelmed and appreciate the many Mass and sympathy cards and messages of support sent directly to us and posted on line; which have provided us with much comfort. A special word of thanks to Monsignor Peter O’Reilly, PP for his spiritual guidance and for the beautiful Requiem Mass, also thank you to Rev. Father Martin and Rev. Father Darcy who officiated at the burial at Holywell, Belcoo. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass including Clare Gunn for the lovely music, the Eucharistic Ministers and the Sacristan. Thank you also to Paschal and Nigel at Conway Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger who prepared Dad’s final resting place. We also wish to thank all the health and care teams along with staff and public at Erneside Shopping Centre who provided care to Dad in his final hour. Your attention provides us with much comfort as we as a family grieve the sudden loss of our devoted father and much loved grandfather to nine adoring children. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Dad’s Month’s Mind will be celebrated on Saturday, 18th March, in Holywell Belcoo at 7.30pm and on Saturday, 1st April, in St. Michael’s Enniskillen at 6pm. Nigel, Jonathan and Lee
