Joey Burke

We, the family of the late Joey Burke wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. To all those who came to our home and brought food, sent sympathy cards, sent messages via text and social media, sent donations and attended Joey’s wake or funeral or helped in any way -Thank you.
We would like to extend our thanks to Castlederg District Nursing Team and Castlederg Surgery for their dedicated nurses who provided such excellent care for Joey during his illness. A special word of thanks to Care Plus and Glen Caring who visited daily and offered support to help us care for Joey. Thank you to the Rapid Response Team who provided us with help for Joey when he urgently required it, we are very grateful. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the Marie Curie Nurses for the professional and compassionate manner in which they cared for Joey in his final days and the great comfort and support they provided to our family.
Sincere thanks to Reverend Bobby Orr for a beautiful funeral service and the support he has given us during this difficult time, we are very grateful. Thank you to our Organist Mrs Janette Lowry for the beautiful music you played at the funeral service. Thank you to the grave diggers for preparing Joey’s final resting place.
Our sincere thanks to Armstrong Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner in which the funeral was carried out.
Thank you to First Castlederg Presbyterian Church for the use of the church hall and facilities, and to all who helped to provide refreshments after the funeral, it was very much appreciated.
