Devoted Dad of Christopher & Gareth, Dearest Father-in-law of Catherine and Cheryl and Much Loved Granda of Molly, Dylan, Jack, Alex & Luke.

Funeral service in Holy Trinity Parish Church Banbridge on Thursday at 1pm, Committal following in Banbridge New Cemetery.

House Private.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu may be sent if desired to William Bell & Co Funeral Directors 23 Kenlis Street Banbridge BT32 3LR for Dementia N I.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing Wife, Sons, Daughters-in-law, Grandchildren and all the family circle.

So so sorry I’ve just heard this morning of John’s passing.. my sincerest condolences.
We had not been in touch for quite a while
John and I went through many tough times here in S E Asia but we always could end up with a laugh or discuss how Rugby is not the game it was in our day!
John and I were similar in many ways, but not in height, we could be grumpy one minute and arm round the shoulder the next!
Although we had been in and out of touch over the past 30 years I’ve known him……he will not be forgotten …
My Prayers are with you and the “boys” who he talked about a lot and was very proud of…
May God Bless you all with His Peace and see you thro this very tough time
