We, the family of the late John Brendan Donaghy, Glenshane Road, Claudy, wish to express our heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Our thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours who sent messages, cards or made donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or paid their respects by standing outside the house or church.
We would like to express our gratitude to Fr Farren, Ardmore for visiting our father and Fr O’Kane, St Patrick’s Claudy for celebrating the beautiful requiem Mass. We wish to express our appreciation to Carmel O’Neill and Bradley’s undertakers, Derry, for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We are grateful to Kellie McLaughlin for the beautiful music and singing.
We would like to thank all the healthcare staff for the care and kindness shown to our father over the years, the staff of Ardlough Care Home, the staff of Cityview Medical, the nursing staff from Claudy Health Centre, and the carers who attended him while at home.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.
