The death has occurred of:
JOHN DESMOND (DES) NIXON
April 19, 2016, peacefully, at Antrim Area Hospital, after a long illness, borne with fortitude, darling husband of Norma, much-loved father of James, Judy, Gavin and Ciara, loving granda of Joshua, Christopher, Catherine, Dylan, Erin, Joel and Alana, dear brother of Mike and Sarah and respected father-in-law of Jonas and Oluwaseun. A Service of Thanksgiving for Des' life will be held in St. Cedmas Parish Church, Larne on Friday 22nd April at 1.00 p.m., followed by private interment in Larne Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu are welcome, (cheques made payable) to Leukaemia and Lymphoma N.I., c/o E.W. Ramsey & Son, 5 Upper Main Street, Larne, BT40 1SY.
