John Eakin (Ian) Campbell
Joan and the girls wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in the loss of Ian. Particular thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Ward 50, NW Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital, especially Mr Edler and Mr Peace; and Rossair Family Health Practice, Limavady, especially Dr Pratt; and Mr Albert McNeill, for their exceptional dedication and care of Ian and the family; the District Nursing team and the team of carers from Western Health and Social Care Trust, North West Care and Connected Heath for their compassionate care and kindness to Ian during the years, days and months before his passing.
The support and prayers from the Rev David Brownlow, Rev Wilson and Rev Rhys Jones was of great comfort to both Ian during his illness and to all of his family. Thank you also to Andrew McMullan in the very respectful and dignified way he helped the family with the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to those who sent letters, sympathy cards and a special thanks to those who sent donations for The British Heart Foundation. Thank you to our family, neighbours and friends for their support and thoughtfulness. Also, to the many who attended the funeral and to the ladies of Drumachose Church who provided food and served after the funeral. A thank you also to the church elders who assisted on the day of the funeral, to Barbara McArthur for playing and Rev Brownlow for conducting the service.
It would be impossible to individually thank everyone but we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
