Died June 6, 2017 in his 93rd year, peacefully, at hospital, late of Rylands Nursing Home and formerly of Kelburn Park, Burnside, beloved husband of the late Martha, much-loved father of Jackie, Sarah and Sammy, father-in-law of Elizabeth, Mervyn and Margaret, devoted grandfather of Alastair, David and Karen and great grandfather of Ellie, Charlie and James. A Service will be held in Second Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church on Friday 9th June at 12.00 noon with interment afterwards in Rashee Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Diabetes UK and Rylands Private Nursing Home Patients Comfort Fund, c/o and cheques payable to Fleming & Cuthbert Funeral Directors, 141 Mill Road, Ballyclare, BT39 9DZ. Friends will be made most welcome at his daughter and son’s homes. Resting where no shadows fall.
