Johnny’s wife Clare, his sisters Helen & Sheila & all his family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each & every person who offered sympathy & support throughout our recent unexpected & sad loss.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Johnny’s removal, funeral Mass & cremation service, those who sent Mass cards, phoned, text or shared kind messages of sympathy online, those who travelled long distances, to those who couldn’t be present but joined us on webcam & to those who donated generously to the National Council for the Blind of Ireland:

Our heartfelt thanks to the Arklow Gardaí & to the ambulance crew who were so kind & helpful on the day Johnny passed away. Thank you to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin & Fr Martin Paravookaran for their prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass & to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for such lovely music.

To our own extended families, our neighbours & friends, your kindness & support will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Bridge Hotel for their hospitality & to the staff of Mount Jerome Crematorium.
To all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors, we thank you for your exceptional care & compassion throughout this most difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Johhny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 20th October at 11.30am in Saints Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
