John Joseph (Ian) LEONARD
The family of the late John Joseph (Ian) Leonard wish to thank everyone who visited, sent sympathy cards, messages and supported them during their recent sad bereavement.
We thank all those who attended his funeral in St Finnian’s Parish Church and made generous donations in his memory to OGCancerNI who provided support to Ian during his cancer diagnosis.
Special thanks to Reverend Canon Jono Pierce for conducting the funeral service and his pastoral care during Ian’s illness. Also, to Revd. Ryan Hawk for his support to Ian and the family.
We thank all those involved in making arrangements for the funeral service, especially the team from Kirkwoods Funeral Directors, organist, florist, Sexton and the caterers at The Pavilion, Stormont Estate.
The family is grateful to Mr R Kennedy, BCH and the staff of Ward 2 North, the Community Nurse team at Holywood Arches and the staff team at Ward 6B Ulster Hospital for their care and support during recent months.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually for their kindness and support, please accept this acknowledgement from Ian’s family as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
