The death has occurred of:
John Joseph O'BRIEN
O’Brien, John Joseph born in Dublin, died peacefully 23 June 2026 in the Ulster Hospital, Belfast.
Beloved husband of the late Ita, loving father of Etienne and Aoife, and grandfather of Meret and Otto. Predeceased by siblings Martin, Tim, Pauline, Nancy, Pat and Peggy and survived by brother Dan.
His remains will arrive at St. Colmcille’s Church, Ballyhackamore, Belfast, BT4 3JB at 5.30 pm Friday 26 June. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Colmcille’s Church, Ballyhackamore on Saturday 27 June at 9.30 am, followed by burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 HN28 at 2.30 pm the same day.
