I grew up with Sharon my best friend & her 2 sisters & their brother, inseperable we were, Mr.George as I always called him, took me under his wing, making sure I had a hot meal at every visit after school.
As the years went on I got my 1st car, always turning up with a bump, scratch or something hanging off it, Mr George said I worried the life out of him driving it.
I met and married my husband (Darren) and at the wedding in a private moment between us he told me how proud he was of me and that he was so happy that I would have a good life with a good man, he wasn't wrong.
I can honestly say I thought of him as a father figure, truely I did.
Mr George was a brilliant daddy to his 4 children, it was such a privilege to be part of it.
He was a respectable kind & loving man.
I'll always think of him with a huge smile but also with tears how could I not, a man who gave so much to me.
We will miss you Mr. George god bless sleep well.
Our love remains with you & your family always.
Donna & Darren Xx
We cannot bring the old times back, when we were all together,
but loving thoughts we have of you will remain with us forever.
