The wife, sons, daughters, brothers and sister of the late John (Spud) Murphy wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved husband, dad, granda, great granda, father in law and brother. A special thanks to Marie and the Nash’s for all their assistance throughout.
Thanks to everyone who called to the wake, sent mass/sympathy cards, food, flowers and attended the house and mass.
Special thanks to Dr Casey, Abbey Medical and his district nurses who attended him daily. Marie Curie for their professional help and support. Foyle hospice and the North West Carers who were a tower of support to us as a family.
A very special thanks to Fr Stephen from Termabacca and Bishop McKeown who were friends of John for years but especially in his end of life care when they were there continuosly for John but also the support they gave us as a family.
Lastly we would like to thank Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it’s impossible to thank each and everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
