The late John Tom Doonan, 86 Main Street, Fortlea, Derrylin, Co Fermanagh. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Robert Doonan and companion Mary Baxter. Sadly missed by Benny, Fiona, Thomas, Eoin, James, Meghan, Ben, Terence, Cleo, Shauna, Connor and Shea his friends and neighbours.

We take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the help and support we have received since John Tom’s untimely passing on the 15th June 2024. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported and helped us in so many ways throughout the sad days following his passing. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who called at the house, attended the wake and funeral, drove long distances to attend wake and funeral, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy, floral tributes, brought food and anyone who helped in anyway.

Thank you to the staff at Cuilcagh Medical Practice Derrylin, the staff at Derrylin Pharmacy and the staff in Ward 7 at South West Acute Hospital. A special thank you to the District Nurses and Community Carers who attended to John Tom. Thank you to Fr Mc Morrow who came to see John Tom while he stayed with Fiona & Benny in their home in Keelpark, Kinawley.

Thank you to Fr Alwill for doing a lovely funeral service and thank you to Martina and Thomas Maguire for the beautiful music. Funeral Services were provided by Patrick Blake Group Derrylin, who ensured that John Tom was laid to rest in a dignified, befitting manner and the arrangements were handled professionally and sensitively throughout thank you to all involved, thank you to the gravediggers for the professional way they prepared John Tom’s final resting place. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us at this extremely difficult time and please remember that we will never forget it. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude at this sad time.

John Tom’s Months Memory Mass will take place on Wednesday 17th July @ 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Teemore.
