The death has occurred of:
John (Tony) HUME
We, the family of the late John (Tony) Hume, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers and helped with the catering throughout the wake. This was a great comfort to us at a sad time.
We extend thanks to Fr Farren and Fr Gormley for their support, kind words and Requiem Mass, and to all those who took part in any way. Your contribution meant so much to us all.
We wish to thank Dr John McLaughlin, the District Nurses, and all the Dr’s and staff at Oakleaf Medical Practice, who cared so well for Tony.
To the Dr’s and staff of the Renal unit at Altnagelvin Hopsital, and to the Dr’s and staff of the Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie who cared so well for Tony and supported us with kind regard throughout his illness.
Thanks to Killian, Sinead and the staff at H Sweeny Chemist.
A special thanks to all Tony’s carers, especially Louise and Pamela, who were so professional in their care of not just Tony but to us his family.
Finally, thanks to all at W.J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out his funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
