John Wesley REA

February 2nd 2024, peacefully at the Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital.

Late of Wyncairn and formerly of Laharna Avenue, Larne.

Beloved son of the late Martha Jane Rea. Dearly loved father of John, much loved brother of Sydney and Paul, loved brother-in-law of Wendy and Linda, cherished uncle of Kathryn and husband Harry, William, Andrew and fiancée Melanie, great uncle of Libby.

Everyone is welcome to call at his brother Paul’s home, 27 Seskin Road, Straid from Wednesday evening onwards.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Straid Congregational Church on Saturday 10th February at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment in Kilwaughter Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support online via flemingandcuthbert.co.uk or by telephone 028 93344242.

He will be loved and remembered always by the entire family circle.

Tired and weary you made no fuss, you tried so hard to stay with us. God closed your eyes and gave you rest, for He alone knows what is best.
