We the children of the late John Boyle; Caroline, Siobhan, Malachy, Buster, Fergal and our mother – along with our entire family circle wish to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who offered support, condolences and kindness during our heartfelt loss.
Our profound thanks to Dr Keegan, Ward 2 and the Palliative Care Team, SWAH to all their dedicated staff who looked after Dad so well. Thanks also to all of Dad’s devoted carers within the community. We wish to thank all our family, friends and neighbours who supplied food and to those who served refreshments, your support was greatly appreciated.
Our gratitude to Gabriel McCaffrey who led Dad’s cortege on his final journey. To Roslea Shamrocks GFC for providing the guard of honour and the use of the complex for Dad’s funeral meal and to JD café Enniskillen who provided same, we are truly grateful. Many thanks to all those who attended Dad’s wake and funeral, sat up during the night so that family could get their rest, to all who sent Mass cards, messages of condolences and donations to the aforementioned teams within SWAH.
Many thanks to all who travelled long journeys for Dad’s funeral, especially to all his truck driving friends from near and far. Thank you to the Roslea Choir for their beautiful music and singing and to the grave diggers who prepared Dad’s final resting place.
Our heartfelt thanks to Aidan & Mags Connolly and Sean Rooney for their professional, caring and dignified manner in which they carried out their duties.
Thank you to Father John Chester, accompanied by Canon Jimmy McPhillips, Fr Peadar Corrigan and Fr John McKenna for their beautiful requiem Mass. Particular thanks to Fr John Chester for all his support provided to Dad whilst he was in hospital and to us as a family thereafter.
Lastly, as it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Dad’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated at St Tierney’s Church Roslea on Sunday 1st June 2025 at 10:30am.
