The death has occurred of:
John Hanna
John Hanna,
Kilmacrannell,
Lisnaskea
Co. Fermanagh
We, the family of the late John Hanna, would like to express our sincere thanks
and appreciation to all who supported and sympathised with us from near and
far, during our recent very sad loss.
Sincere thanks to our relatives and neighbours who helped in so many ways; to
all those who attended the wake and funeral, to those who stood out when he
came home on Monday evening and again on Wednesday along the route to
Holy Cross Church; our heartfelt thanks to all who left messages of condolences
on social media, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought food and
assisted in the home.
We especially would like to thank Canon Jimmy for administering the Sacrament
of the Sick and for his beautiful Funeral Mass and the personalised homily which
was a very fitting tribute to John’s life and to Brenda and Rhona for the singing
and music during the mass.
Our grateful thanks goes to the medical team that cared for John, remembering
in particular the outstanding care he received over the years from Tracy and
Sarah, the Heart Failure nurses in SWAH Enniskillen and to the staff at the Maple
Group Practice, Lisnaskea.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Ollie, Leo and Conor of Swift &
McCaffrey Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which
they handled his funeral arrangements and for their attention to detail in all
matters. Thanks also to Marty and the staff in St. Pat’s Clubhouse, Donagh for
providing the refreshments after the burial.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude for your kindness and
support.
John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 17th November in Holy
Cross Church, Lisnaskea at 11am.
