The family of the late John Hegarty, Meenan Drive, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, phone calls, messages, flowers and food, these were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.
We were especially touched by the kindness of our own family circle, our neighbours and friends and to those who called to the house, lined the funeral route, did the readings or attended the funeral.
Thanks to the doctors of Clarendon Medical and the doctors and nurses in Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for John during his illness.
We extend a special thanks to Fr Baker of the Longtower Church for his great support and kind words. Thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 27th February at 12 pm in St Columba’s Church, Longtower.
