The family of the late John Hughes wish to express our sincere thanks and deepest appreciation to all those who supported and sympathised with us in our recent bereavement of a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

We offer our thanks to everyone who attended the Requiem Mass, burial, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards and messages of condolence and support at this very difficult time.

Our most sincere thanks to Rev. Fr. Paul Strain and Rev. Canon Paddy McKenna for their spiritual support and guidance and for the beautiful concelebrated Requiem Mass for John, also Rev. Fr. Gabriel Lyons and Rev. Fr. Conor McGrath for their spiritual support in the last years to John.

A heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of Antrim Area Hospital and the carers who looked after John.

We would also like to convey our sincere thanks to Colum and Brenda Bradley for providing the catering. Thanks also to Moira Crawley for playing the beautiful music and singing.

Our appreciation is also extended to Joe Cunning, Cunning Funeral Directors, Carnlough, for the compassion, empathy and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Since we cannot thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation by everyone who sympathised with us.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 14th June at 7pm in Mary Queen of Peace Church, Glenravel, where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
