We the family of the Late John Lynch, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us, who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank those who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, letters and donations to the Marie Curie Charity.
Our sincere gratitude to our kind families, neighbours, friends and local businesses (Nisa Drumquin and Nite Bite Omagh), to those who assisted during the wake, and provided food or helped in any other way.
We would like to give a special word of thanks to Father Thomas Canning for his spiritual guidance and support during this very difficult time and for the beautiful heartfelt funeral mass which celebrated John’s life in a warm and personal manner. Also a special word of thanks to Sister Geraldine for all her support and help throughout the wake and funeral.
Thank you to the readers, eucharistic minsters and gift bearers who contributed to the funeral. Many thanks to Ceàllach Reid for the beautiful singing and music throughout John’s funeral mass and to Cathal Lynch for the beautiful singing at John’s place of rest.
We would like to thank all those who cared for John throughout his illness especially the doctors, district nurses, palliative care team, rapid response team, Marie curie nurses, Bradelys Pharmacy Drumquin, Bradelys Pharmacy Castleview, Kelly’s Pharmacy Omagh and Brookmount Pharmacy Omagh. We were so blessed to have such amazing people in our home to care for John.
To Charlie Lynch the funeral director who carried out the funeral arrangements with great efficiency, dignity and respect and to his assistant Martin Donnelly we express our sincere thanks.
Thank you to the gravedriggers for preparing John’s final resting place. Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral and to all who carried John on his final journey.
Thank you also to Drumquin Parish Hall for their assistance in providing refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our huge appreciation and deepest gratitude.
Johns vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We will always be grateful for the person he was. Forever loved by his wife Bridget, children, grandchildren and family dog Daisy.
John’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 13th July @6:30pm,
in St. Patrick’s Church, Langfield Drumquin.
