The wife and family of the late John McFarland wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with us, sent cards and messages during this sad time. Also, a special word of thanks to our good neighbours.
Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at A & E and Ward 42, Altnagelvin Hospital for their excellent nursing to John.
A special thanks to Rev David Reid who provided pastoral support and for conducting the funeral service, also Rev Rodney Thompson, Rev Robert Kane and Rev Stephen Hibbert for their visits.
The family would like to thank the carers of the Western Health and Social Care Trust and North West Care, Dr Greene, Newtownstewart Medical Centre, John’s Parkinson’s care team, Corry’s Chemist, Gortin and Bradley’s Chemist, Newtownstewart.
Also thanks to David Baxter, gravedigger and members of Badoney & Corrick Presbyterian Churches for providing refreshments following the funeral.
Thanks to everyone at Armstrong’s Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which the arrangements were carried out and Barbara Pinkerton for providing refreshments at the wake.
