We the family of the late John O’Connor wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who reached out to us at this sad time. Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy.
A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in Ward 23, Altnagelvin; to all the nurses in Foyle Hospice, Marie Curie, Eglinton Medical Practice, Scroggy Road Health Centre, Doctor Emma Ross, North West Carers, Connect Health Care, all the O.T.s, pharmacists and Palliative Care. Each and every one of you was very much appreciated. You carried out your duties with such care and compassion.
Thanks to Fr McDermott and Msgnr Dolan for their visits and words of comfort to John and the family, and the beautiful Mass.
Thanks to Fidelma McNamee for the beautiful singing; to Brian and Paula, Parish Office; to Faughanvale G.A.A. for their Guard of Honour and to Flower Krazy for lovely flowers.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 7th August 2026 at 7.30pm in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale.
