29th March 2022
The family of the late John Sey would like to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported them during their recent sad bereavement. Special thanks to all those who called at the home, brought food and flowers as well as those who sympathised by phone, sympathy cards, letters, social media and attended the funeral.
Thanks to Rev Alastair Donaldson for conducting the funeral service. Special thanks to Rev Lorraine Capper for her dedicated pastoral support and kindness to John and all the family and for taking part in the funeral service and conducting the service at the family home. Thanks to Lord Erne, a lifelong friend of the family, for the beautiful heartfelt tribute spoken about John and thanks to Lady Erne for the lovely scripture reading. Thanks to the Organist, Grave Digger and Bell Ringer. Special thanks to the medical team from Maple Health Group, Hughes and Armstrongs Pharmacies, District nurses, social workers, palliative care team and community carers for all their care in keeping John comfortable. Special thanks to Dr Malek and all the dedicated staff at the North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital. Also, the Surgical, ICU and Medical teams at SWAH, Enniskillen.
Kind Thanks to Lord and Lady Erne for providing the West Wing, Crom Castle for refreshments after the funeral service and to the Little Orchard Tea Room staff (Ann, Aine and Catherine) for the catering at the Castle.
Our most sincere thanks to the National Trust for all the help, support, kindness and compassion during John’s illness, at the time of his death and for all the assistance on the day of the funeral and the very touching guard of honour by his colleagues. Thanks also to the representatives from other organisations John was a part of.
We would like to pay special thanks to Noel Robison, Dowlers Funeral Services for the very professional, dignified manner in which he conducted the funeral arrangements.
Finally thank you to all those who have made generous donations in lieu of flowers to the ‘Patients Comfort Fund’ North West Cancer Centre.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation.
Sharon, Jonathan, Stacey, Dylan and Amanda
