TRACEY John 21st December 2022 R.I.P.

The family of the late John Tracey wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent bereavement.

To those who paid their respects by attending the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, offered their condolences via phone calls and messages, and made donations to the MS Society we extend our gratitude.

Our heartfelt thanks to our kind relatives, neighbours and friends who assisted before and during the wake, provided refreshments, brought gifts of food, etc.

Thanks to the club members from Gortin St Patrick’s and Badoney Ladies who kindly formed a Guard of Honour as John departed the Chapel.

Thanks to those who cared for John at home over the years, to the District Nurses and Doctors from the Sperrin Family Practice, the carers and to the Nurses, Doctors and Palliative Care Team at Ward 24 in Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry for looking after John in his final week, we will be forever grateful.

We are also grateful to the compassionate Hospital chaplains and Fr. John Forbes for the prayers and support during John’s time of need. A special word of thanks to Fr. Brian Donnelly and Fr. Francis Bradley who called during the wake to offer their spiritual support and prayers and to Fr. Francis Bradley who delivered a beautiful funeral service and celebration of John’s life.
We convey our appreciation to everyone who assisted in John’s Requiem Mass, especially Clare McAleer and Noleen Neill for the beautiful singing and music.

Thank you to the kind neighbours and friends who kindly prepared John’s final resting place and to all the family and friends who carried John on his final journey.

Thank you also to Michael and Seamus McGuigan for their dignified and professional manner- grateful appreciation to Michael for his kindness, sensitivity, and respectful funeral direction.

Thanks also to Owenkillew Community Centre, Anne Marie Mossey and to everyone who helped provide refreshments following John’s burial.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Forever loved and sadly missed by his wife Joan, sons Kevin and Michael, daughter Joanne, daughter-in-law Maggie, grandchildren Daire, Shea, Dannin, Rose, Kate and Mary, brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, and entire family circle.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 20th January 2023 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Rouskey.
