We the family of the late Joseph O’Neill wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.

We very much appreciate the many people who attended the wake, funeral mass and burial especially those who travelled a distance to pay their respects. It was great comfort to us to see the esteem in which he was held and to hear so many lovely stories.

Thanks to all the staff in the stroke ward at Craigavon Area Hospital for the care and attention shown to Daddy. Thank you to Barry Donnelly from the Order of Malta, the first responders and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

We are grateful to the many people who sent mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and letters. Thanks to family, friends and neighbours who brought food and helped out during the wake.

Thanks to Plunkett Teague and Sons; funeral director for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We would like to thank Fr Eugene O’Neill who celebrated the funeral mass and to those who participated in the mass. Thanks to Margaret Conlon for the lovely singing and Patrick Slevin who accompanied on keyboard.

We would like to thank Kelly Anne from ‘Kitch’n Catering’ for the lovely food and refreshments provided. Thanks also to Coalisland Fianna Club for providing the hall for the funeral meal.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Joseph’s months mind mass will be held in St Mary and St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville on Friday 6th Sept at 7:30pm
