Acknowledgement.
Jude Mullin, Trillick, Co Tyrone.
Died 9th June 2025.

The recent loss of our much loved Jude has left a deep void in the lives and hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jude was a widely respected, hard-working gentleman, but primarily he was a devoted family man, loving husband of Therese (née McCormick), devoted father of Conall and Laoise. Much loved brother of Mark, Mary (Paul) and Margaret (Declan). Son in law of Anne and the late Peter. Brother in law of Martin (Joe) and the late Edel. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Sincere thanks to all who brought food and helped, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route or joined us at the Requiem Mass, especially those who travelled long distances to be with us.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Canon John McKenna PE and Father Pádraig MacKenna PP for their spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and musicians Pianist Damien Cullen and Soloist Donna Taggart, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers Brendan McGurren, Brendan Campbell and Shane Kelly for preparing Jude’s final resting place. Also to Mary of Howe’s Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, and to Mary Warnock and her team in Trillick Leisure Centre for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

We wish to sincerely thank Rob Van Tunen and all of Jude’s colleagues and friends for their help and support at this difficult time. A special word of thanks to Cor for his assistance with travel arrangements and his unwavering commitment to bringing Jude home, and to the Air Ambulance who also helped to bring Jude home, we are truly grateful.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the Doctors and nurses in ICU Altnagelvin Hospital for caring for Jude in his final days, we are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to him.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Jude is loved and missed every day. May his passionate, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Sunday 20th July at 11am. Our Lady pray for him.
