The family of the late Karen Browne (nee Mowbray) of 273 Carnhill Derry would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Special thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support. To everyone who came to our home to pay their respects, gave mass cards and bought food. Also to those who travelled from England for the funeral and watched online from Australia, Spain, France and across England.
To Fr Sean O'Donnell who visited Karen with comfort and prayers and for the beautiful Mass & Eulogy and to Lauren and Betty Doherty for the stunning music and singing during the service.
To all the Staff at W.J. O'Brien & Sons funeral Directors for their dignified and professional handling of the funeral arrangements including the beautiful flowers.
Special thanks to Dr Coulter of Racecourse Medical for the care you have given to my late wife Karen during a very difficult period, you will forever be in our prayers.
To all the nurses who were involved in helping care for Karen including Caroline Mairead & Lucy at the Foyle Hospice, Racecourse Medical District Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses thank you all.
The Macmillan Nurses, Occupational Therapist and financial advisor Kevin thank you for being there for our mother and our family. Also thanking the Northside Pharmacy Staff for their kind words and invaluable advice given to Karen.
To the Staff and Managers in Tesco Lisnagelvin thank you for giving Karen 20+ years at a job she truly loved.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Karen's Months mind mass will take place on Thursday 1st June 2023 in St Bridget's Chapel at 6.30 pm. Everyone welcome.
