Pat, Ryan and the entire family circle of the late Karen Reid, R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

The family wish to especially thank the kind neighbours, friends, relatives and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Fr Brennan for his spiritual support, guidance and hospital visits and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and Fr Devlin P.P. and Fr P J Mc Camphill for their pastoral care and con celebrating Karen’s Mass.

Thanks to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music, the church sacristans and volunteers, Fionnuala Mc Guckian and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral, our friend Wishy Drain and Stephen Reid who prepared the grave.

Sincere appreciation to the carers who attended Karen diligently, over the last few years, we are eternally grateful.

Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of Kilrea Health Centre, Martin Mc Kenna and staff of Shields Pharmacy, Kilrea, for their care, kindness and dedication throughout Karen’s life. A special note of thanks to all the medical staff in Ward 5D Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast who treated Karen throughout her illness.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to Mc Kiernan & Sons, Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. We are truly grateful for your personal attention.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month’s mind Mass for Karen will be celebrated on Saturday 17th May 2025 at St Joseph’s Church, Dunloy at 6.00pm.
