The death has occurred of:
Kate Mallon
Kate Mallon R.I.P.
We, the family of the late Kate Mallon, would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us in the past number of months, both during Kate's time in hospital and in the time since her passing.
We would especially like to thank our extended family circle and friends who helped to make this difficult time a little easier. Those who helped at the wake, called at the house, send mass cards and sympathy cards, brought food, sent flowers and attended the funeral, either in person or online!
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who cared for Kate during her recent illness. Particularly the staff of CSICU in the Royal Victoria Hospital and ICU Belfast City Hospital for their loving care and attention.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Sheehan and Francis Hagan for making Kate's Requiem Mass memorable and personal to us. Thanks to Sinead and accompanist for the touching musical accompaniment. To Brian Nugent for attending to the grave and to Nancy Hall for refreshments provided after the funeral!
Lastly, to Hugh and Dermot Quinn for the comforting and professional way in which they handled everything.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually for the support we have received. It is our dearest hope that you can all accept out deepest gratitude and appreciation.
Kate will be greatly missed by her husband Tom, her mother Rennie, sons Michael and Sean, daughters Claire and Maoliosa, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren and her wider family circle.
Kate's months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 24th May at 7pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Drumcree, Portadown.
