Kathleen Elizabeth MAWHINNEY (née Hanratty)
Mawhinney Kathleen Elizabeth née Hanratty passed away peacefully on the 23rd of December 2022. Much loved mum of Christina and Ashleigh son-in-law David, cherished nanny to Chloe, Faith, Noah, Ruben and great granny to Woody, beloved sister of Annette, Elizabeth, Jean, Patrick, Michael and the late Jim David and Molly, special aunt and great aunt.
Kathleen is resting in Willowfield Private Funeral Home until Tuesday 3rd January (viewing by appointment only on Thursday 29th Dec. and Friday 30th Dec.) Family and friends are welcome at her daughter's home (address below) on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. House private on Wednesday 4th January 2023 before the funeral service.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 4th January 2023 in her daughter's home 8 Victoria Close, Belfast, BT4 1PF followed by committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 4.40 pm.

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
