The family of the late Kathleen McLaughlin would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who shared in our recent bereavement.
We thank everybody who called to our home, sent Mass and Sympathy Cards and attended Kathleen’s Funeral and those who donated to the Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie. Special thanks to everyone at Aberfoyle Surgery for the care shown to Kathleen during her illness and thanks also to the medical teams at the Belfast Cancer Centre and the North West Cancer Centre.
Our gratitude is extended to the Foyle Hospice team, the District Nursing team, to the Marie Curie nurses, the Fast Response teams and Strabane & District Caring Services for the care and compassion shown to Kathleen at her home.
A special word of thanks to Mary Diamond for her sincere support to Kathleen.
We would like to thank Fr Daniel McFaul for the beautiful celebration of Kathleen’s Requiem Mass. Thanks to Lauren and Bethany for the special musical accompaniment during the Mass. Thanks to Fr Paul Fraser and Fr Ignacy Sanuita for leading prayers at our home during the wake.
We thank all those who brought food and helped in any way during the wake. We extend our thanks to Beechwood flowers for the beautiful flowers.
We thank Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional service in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Kathleen’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Creggan on Tuesday 28th February at 7.30pm.
