The family also offer their sincere thanks to the Woodford Park staff in Coleraine (Mairead and Richard) who enabled Ruairi to attend and supported him during the wake and funeral.
Thanks also to the many of you who tirelessly helped out or provided food for the family and visitors during the wake and to those who marshalled the traffic. This was hugely appreciated! Special thanks to Adrian Bradley for the use of his lights and Gerard Heaney for use of his yard for parking.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors, especially Michael Óg for the highly professional, personalised and supportive manner in which they carried out, and guided the family through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. It was exactly as Kathleen had wanted. Thank you!
Sincere thanks to the medical team in A&E and Ward 41 at Altnagelvin Hospital who attended to Kathleen in her final days, and to the care staff at both Cornfield Care Home, Limavady and Galgorm Care Home, Ballymena who looked after Kathleen with such kindness over the past few months. The family would particularly like to express their huge thanks and appreciation to Donna, Louise, Sharon from the Home Care team who provided daily care and company to Mum with such dedication, compassion and good humour for the past few years. A final and special thanks to Mary and Joanne for everything you did for Kathleen and her family. They will always remember your generosity and kindness.
