Acknowledgement from the family of the late Kevin Conway (Ballinderry) R.I.P

We, the family of the late Kevin Conway R.I.P would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to acknowledge all those who attended the wake, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards, sent floral tributes, messaged through social media and attended the Funeral Mass.

To all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped during the wake; those who brought food and refreshments and served tea, we will be forever grateful. Thanks also to family members and members of Ballinderry Shamrocks for their help with wake car parking and stewarding the morning of the funeral.

Sincere thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses of the MacMillan unit who cared for Kevin during his illness. A special word of thanks to Dr Gray and the Coagh district nursing team who went above and beyond their call of duty.

A Special thank you to Fr Peter Donnelly P.P. for visiting Kevin during his illness and the celebration of the Requiem Mass, John Wilson for preparing the church, Niamh McGlinchey for the beautiful music and singing and Noel Mullan for his piping.

We would like to thank the members of Ballinderry Bridge Pipe Band, Martin, Noel, James, Brian and Anthony who accompanied Kevin on his last journey to his resting place. This special gesture would have meant so much to Kevin.

Sincere thanks to Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC, camogie and football members who provided a guard of honour.

We would like to thank B’s Griddle for the beautiful food and refreshments, Ballinderry Hub for the use of their facility and to those who kindly prepared and served it.

Finally, we would like to thank Mark and Philip Cassidy of Cassidy Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Gary for preparing Kevin’s resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Kevin’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 15th September at 7.30 p.m. in St Patrick’s Church Ballinderry.
