Kevin HARKIN
The family of the late Kevin Harkin, Dunmore Gardens, Creggan would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported them in their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all those who travelled many from long distances, supplied accommodation & food, sent mass/sympathy cards, messages, donations, visited the house, took part in the procession to St Mary's, contributed and attended his requiem mass and cremation.
Sincere appreciation to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers who offered their support and helped in so many ways and also kept us in their thoughts and prayers throughout Kevin's illness.
Special thanks to the medical staff who treated Kevin , in particular, Nicole and Nuala who demonstrated so much care and compassion to Kevin, and his whole family.
Much gratitude also to Fr Patrick the hospital chaplain, Fr Stephen and Fr Daniel, whose homily captured the essence of the wonderful man Kevin was in life. Many thanks to Charlene and Ramon of Cana Music for their beautiful music. Also, the Tasty Reel for their wonderful food and service.
Finally, thanks to Kieran and staff at W. J. O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for his patience and the professional, sensitive, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out Kevin's funeral.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually, but it is hoped that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of the family’s true gratitude and thanks. A Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Kevin’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th October 2023 at 6.30 pm Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Everyone welcome.
A memorial service will take place in Ballybunion on Oct 28th @ 11 am.
