The family of the late Kevin McAvinchey, wife Teresa, daughters Kevina, Sinead, Grainne, Aideen, Orla and Finnuala and the entire family circle wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Thankyou to all our family and friends who helped at the wake and funeral, to the many people who attended the wake and/or funeral, sent mass or sympathy cards, messaged, telephoned or expressed condolences online.
A special word of thanks to the Neuro Oncology team at the RVH Belfast, to the district nurses and doctors at the Friary surgery, especially Dr. Eimear Moriarty and Dr. Frances O’Hagan, and to the Macmillan nurses who all cared for Kevin and supported the family during his short illness.
Thankyou to Fr. Peter McAnenly who ministered to Kevin during his illness and celebrated his funeral mass. Thanks also to Catherine Hughes and Dermott McCusker for the beautiful music during the mass.
Thankyou to J.J. McArdle & Sons, Funeral directors for their professional, sensitive and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Kevin’s months mind will be held in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh on Saturday 5th August at 10.00 am.
