We the family, of the late Kevin McCanny, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to our entire family circle, friends and neighbours on the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
We wish to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messaged or phoned to offer their condolences. We are indebted to those who helped during the wake in any way. Our sincere thanks to Father Thomas Canning who carried out the Requiem Mass, particularly the beautiful homily, Father Peter McCawille who concelebrated with Fr Canning and to Father Paul Fraser for attending the removal. Special thanks to Rois Kelly-Lynch for her singing, to all who read and the Eucharist Ministers at the funeral Mass.
Thank you to each and every one who visited and tended to Kevin at his home during his long illness and offered support.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the medical staff at Three Spires Surgery, the district nursing team, Palliative care team and to Marie Curie as well as the many health professionals who supported us over the years.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the Glen Caring team who took such good care of Kevin and for their unending kindness to him in his home.
To Charlie and all at Charles Lynch funeral directors we offer our sincere thanks for your compassion, guidance and professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers for preparing Kevin's final resting place.
We are overwhelmed by the support and kindness we have received. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
Kevin is loved and missed every day. May his loving, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest.
Kevin’s month mass will be celebrated on Saturday evening 1st February at 6:30pm in St Patrick’s Church Langfield Drumquin.
