Kevin McGovern
Kevin McGovern. Doagh, Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh. 21st January 2024. It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Kevin McGovern wishes to express their sincere thanks to all who have supported us in our recent sudden bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who called at the house, brought gifts of food, sent us messages online, made telephone calls, attended mass, and sent sympathy cards. We are also grateful to those who travelled long distances to be with us during this difficult time.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our kind friends and neighbours who sat up at the wake, as well as to all who attended Kevin's funeral mass and burial. Your kindness and presence will not be forgotten. A special word of thanks to Fr. Raymond Donnelly for his prayers and support. We would also like to sincerely thank the emergency services and the PSNI for their dignified care and assistance provided to Kevin. Thank you to Father Cathal Deery for his spiritual support to our family, and for celebrating the beautiful and very fitting funeral mass. We would also like to express our gratitude to Jacqui Bannon for her beautiful singing and music, and to all the readers and Eucharistic ministers who participated in the funeral mass. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Funeral Director, Damian McGovern & Sons, for carrying out the funeral arrangements and for their support during this difficult time.
Thank you to the grave diggers for preparing Kevin's final resting place. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family's gratitude to all who helped and supported us during this sad and difficult time. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions. Kevin's month mind mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Derrygonnelly, on Sunday 25th February 2024 at 11:30am.
Heaven is now his home.
