Kevin McGREEVY
The sisters, brothers and all the family circle of the late Kevin McGreevy wish to express our sincere thanks to the many people who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We greatly appreciate all those relatives, friends, neighbours, and Kevin’s many friends who called at the Chapel of Rest, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, left messages online, made donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetes UK Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke, attended the funeral or helped in any other way and to all those who travelled distances to be with us at the funeral.
A special word of thanks to Fr McHugh for celebrating the Requiem Mass and for his kind words of comfort and prayers. Thanks also to Monica and Brian Megoran for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral Mass. Special thanks to the paramedics, doctors and nurses at the Ulster Hospital who tended Kevin in his last hours. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff and management at the Downe Hospital, Glebe Care Home, Newtownabbey and Blair House, Newtownards for their exceptional care and support given to Kevin in recent years.
Sincere thanks to Down Funeral Directors for the dignified, caring and personalised manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We also thank the Oaks, Darragh Cross for providing refreshments after the funeral.
Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
The Months Mind Mass for Kevin will be celebrated on Friday 19th April at 7.30pm in Mary, Mother of the Church, Saintfield.
