Kieran, Michelle, Rory and Áine would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them on the recent sudden passing of their remarkable, amazing and courageous son and brother, Kieran who gained his angel wings on 10th April 2022.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude must firstly go to all the medical staff who looked after Kieran.
To the Ambulance and paramedics who came to our home and to the doctors and nurses at A&E, who treated us and Kieran with the utmost respect and dignity.
To the staff of the renal unit, you were all like a second family to Kieran and us. We will never be able to repay you for everything you did for Kieran during his time there. We are so very grateful to all of you.
To the district nurses and nursing auxiliaries who called to our home, thank you so much for all the care, love and dedication you showed to Kieran and us.
To all the staff of Aberfoyle Medical Practice, especially Dr. O’Kelly who cared for Kieran so well over the years, and all the doctors and nurses of Altnagelvin and Royal Victoria Hospital’s for the care and dedication Kieran received, also to the staff of Clear Pharmacy Rosemount. Thank you all so very much.
We sincerely thank those who sent Mass / sympathy cards, provided food and expressed their condolences through telephone calls, messages and through social media, who called at the house and attended the funeral. To Kieran's work colleagues from FirstSource, to FinTrU, the Bentley, Breslins Butcher’s and McDonalds Foyleside thank you all so much for your support.
To Elaine, Kieran's girlfriend and her family, thank you all so much for your love and support during this difficult time. I know you will miss Kieran as much as us Elaine.
A special thanks to Decky, Kieran's lifelong friend for his support and for arranging the special car escort to accompany Kieran on his final journey from Legenderry Motor Cars. He would have loved every minute of it .
Special thanks to Father James Devine for your support and spiritual guidance during a very difficult time and for conducting the beautiful funeral service. Thank you also to Ciara and Mickey Mc Cafferty for the beautiful music during the mass. It was a very fitting tribute to Kieran and we are so grateful.
A very special thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the very dignified, professional and respectful way you treated Kieran and us. It is so very much appreciated.
Lastly a very heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful family who took over doing absolutely everything for us and without whose help and support we would not have been able to cope this past few weeks , words can’t express how truly thankful we are.
Kieran’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 10th May at 7:15pm in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. All are welcome.
