Kieran McDowell
The family of the late Kieran McDowell, Lurgan wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support following our recent loss. We are deeply touched by the generosity of all who visited our home, attended or watched the funeral on the webcam, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, flowers, food, offered messages of comfort, or helped in any way.
We extend our thanks to Fr Jozef Wozniak for his monthly attendance with Kieran and to Fr Kingsley Idoghor for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Our heartfelt thanks to Rosemary Kelly for her beautiful singing and to all who participated in any way celebrating the Requiem Mass. We also give thanks to Monica McCorry who brought the Eucharist to Kieran when he was unable to attend the Church.
We give thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and all the staff at Church Walk Surgery, Gordons Pharmacy, the Trust Home Care Team and the District Nursing Team for their care and support given to Kieran, he was very grateful to you all as are his family. We also thank the NI Ambulance Service for their professional service.
We thank Jack & Margaret McLearnon Funeral Directors and staff, for their guidance and professionalism at this very difficult time.
We also thank the grave digger, Kieran Mulholland as well as Michael Mulholland and his staff at The Derryhirk Inn for providing refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we want to acknowedge all the very good friends that visited and made phone calls weekly with Kieran, we know he really enjoyed your company and friendship and looked forward to speaking with you all. Kieran’s family trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude to you all.
Masses will be offered up for Kieran’s Month’s Mind in St. Peter’s Church, Lurgan and also St. Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon on Sunday 28th June 2026.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
